Why Choose Otolaryngology at Doctors Hospital?

Our residency program will bring you up to speed smoothly, with guidance from the best minds in the field.

Learn From Experience

Our extensive faculty creates breadth in your training, by exposing you to all facets of otolaryngology, including pediatric care, rhinology, trauma, facial plastic surgery and neurotology. You will practice one-on-one patient care and explore teaching interests in our Doctors Hospital resident clinic, which is open five days a week.

OhioHealth Otolaryngology residents also work in our Audiologic and Vestibular Laboratory, Allergy-Immunology Clinic, Hobbs Radiation Oncology Center, and Voice and Swallow department. You will have many opportunities to attend hands-on workshops in anatomy, osteopathic manipulative medicine, endoscopic sinus surgery and soft tissues.

An expansive simulation environment will be available to you through the Center for Medical Education + Innovation. This advanced technology allows for hands-on learning through patient simulators in a Virtual Care Unit and clinical skills laboratories. Our residents use the four-station temporal bone laboratory monthly and as-needed, which includes microscopes, drills and monitors.
